Chris, Mary, Ann Marie, Beth, Morgan, and David Granberry moved to the Yakama Indian Reservation in June 2003, with the desire to love and serve our "first neighbors" well. Connie became a part of the Granberry family in 2010 and still serves with Sacred Road as part-time staff.
Chris, the founder of Sacred Road, was ordained by the Pacific Northwest Presbytery in June 2008. With a background in teaching, coaching, and Youth Ministry, Chris now serves as Team Leader as well as the Assistant Pastor for the Hope Fellowship church plant.Mary has a degree in Psychology and background in Social Work. She oversees Food Ministry, Hospitality, and Mercy Ministry. She is currently the Administrator for our short-term teams and the Summer Internship applicants.

The Clevengers
Chuck: Youth Ministry Director

Neena: Book’N-It LibrarianAfter spending time on the Yakama Reservation as short-term team memebers, the Clevengers developed a passion for the Ministry and a heart for the community. Chuck, Neena, and Asha moved to the reservation from Chattanooga, TN. in February 2009. Isaac was born a few months later.
Having a background in graphic design, Chuck was surprised when his role with Sacred Road turned to that of Youth Ministry Director. The small gathering of teenagers in 2009 has developed into a full blown Youth Ministry, reaching over 200 youth around our reservation.
Neena serves alongside ladies in the church in Hospitality and Women's Ministry. She also helps organize and manages our Book’N-It Mobile Library.

The Tsavatewas
Joshua: Head Pastor of Hope Fellowship Church and Middle School Director for Sacred Road

Joshua is from the Hopi Tribe, Rabbit and Tobacco Clan in Arizona. He first partnered with Sacred Road through the Summer Internship in 2009 after graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Joshua moved to the reservation to join full-time staff in May 2010. At first, he served as our Children's Ministry Director while working on his ordination. Joshua was ordained by the Pacific Northwest Presbytery in June 2019 and is now the Head Pastor of Hope Fellowship Church. Joshua’s primary role within the Ministry is overseeing all logistics for Hope Fellowship, the church planted through Sacred Road Ministries.
Ruth grew up in Spokane, WA. She served as a Summer Intern with Sacred Road in 2010, which is when she and Joshua first met. Ruth taught at Zuni Christian Mission School for 12 years and in Salt Lake City for one year. She moved to White Swan in the summer of 2021 to work with Sacred Road. Joshua and Ruth were married at Hope Fellowship in August 2021. Ruth assists with Administrative needs for Sunday morning services and for our Youth Ministry team, as well as tutoring for H.O.P.E. After-School. The Tsavatewas welcomed their first son, Josiah, in August of 2023.

The Farrises
Kealen: Facilities and Transportation Director

efarris@sacredroadministries.orgEmily Ann grew up in the Seattle area. She began as a Summer Intern with Sacred Road, in 2014, and moved to the reservation in June 2017, to begin full-time ministry. Emily Ann serves in many roles in the ministry. She assists with Food, Hospitality, and Mercy Ministries as well as being a part of the Youth Ministry team.
Kealen was living in the Tri-Cities area, east of Yakima, when he came as a Summer Intern in May 2019. Shortly after the internship ended, he moved back as a member of full-time staff. Kealen is head of Facilities at the church and head of Transportation Ministry. He trains a handful of young men from the community who are working alongside him.
After meeting and getting to know each other as coworkers, Kealen and Emily Ann got married, in September 2020. They welcomed their first son, Jack, in January of 2023.

Trey Belisario
H.O.P.E. After-school Director

(509)985-2644Trey Belisario first learned of Sacred Road in 2016. Trey spent time serving on several, one week trips and worked as a Summer Intern. In May 2018, he moved from Tampa, FL. to the Yakama Reservation to join as full-time staff. Trey graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Developmental Psychology. After working as the Director of Children's Ministry for a time, Trey transitioned to running H.O.P.E. After-School. He also works alongside our Youth Ministry team.

The Shaws
Evan: Warm Springs Site Coordinator

hshaw@sacredroadministries.orgAfter spending several summers as interns with Sacred Road, Evan and Holly Shaw moved to the Yakama Reservation, in October 2019. They joined full-time staff with the goal of moving to the Warm Springs Reservation, in Oregon, to replicate Sacred Road Ministries there.
The Shaws spent time on the Yakama Reservation, working closely with staff members to develop a deeper understanding of the culture and the various facets of the ministry. While in Yakama, they welcomed their first child, Ezra, in August 2021.
The full-time Warm Springs team moved to Oregon in January, 2023. Along with Tomo Ito, the Shaws are excited to see how the Lord builds His church in the Warm Springs community.

Tsennibah Piel
Hospitality, Mercy Ministry, and Community Outreach Staff

(509)985-6901Tsennibah Piel was raised in Red Mesa, Arizona with her Navajo grandmother. Being raised in a traditional Navajo home, her first language was Dení (Navajo). As an adult, Tsennibah moved to the Yakama Reservation to find family on her father's side. Tsennibah and her children met Chris and became regularly connected with the church. They were baptized in July 2014. Tsennibah became part of the Sacred Road team in 2018, moving to full-time staff in 2020. Tsennibah is the Mercy Ministry Coordinator and works alongside Mary in Food and Hospitality, as well.

Tionna Tillequots
Children’s Ministry Director
ttillequots@sacredroadministries.orgTionna Tillequots grew up with Sacred Road Ministries and the Hope Fellowship church plant from a young age. Tionna was able to witness much of the development of the ministry from the early stages until now. Over the years, she has been on the receiving end of Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Discipleship, and the Young Adults Program. Now she serves in each of those roles herself. Tionna is the Children’s Ministry Director for Sacred Road.

Tomo Ito
Warm Springs Director
tito@sacredroadministries.orgTomo Ito first became acquainted with Sacred Road by coming on a Spring Team while attending UC Berkeley. After graduating with a BA in Physics he served two years as an RUF Intern at Emory University in Atlanta. He remained in Atlanta to attend seminary and interned with Sacred Road for several summers. In May 2021, he graduated seminary with a Masters of Divinity and began working with Sacred Road full-time. Tomo was ordained in April 2022 and had his Ordination Service at Hope Fellowship Church.
Tomo joined Sacred Road with the desire to be part of the team that would replicate the Ministry on the Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon. Our full-time Warm Springs team moved to Oregon in January, 2023. Along with the Shaw family, Tomo’s dream is to be part of a ministry that helps the Warm Springs community flourish.

Connie Yallup
Mercy Ministry, Hospitality, and Administrative Assistant
Connie’s involvement with Sacred Road began from a young age. Kid’s Club happened, literally, in her grandfather’s backyard. She grew up as a participant in the Children’s and Youth Ministry programs. When she was young, she moved into the Granberry home and has been a member of their family ever since. Connie has been a core member of the Sacred Road community for years. She has worked with and for Sacred Road in many capacities over the years, including the Summer Internship and being on part-time staff. She joined full-time staff in 2024. She is also working on her college degree online through ASU. On top of Administrative work for Sacred Road, Connie also leads a young girls Sunday School group on Sundays, is a D-Group leader for our Youth Ministry, and is a valued asset in the kitchen. This Fall, she has coordinated a Young Adults Bible Study for Hope Fellowship that focuses on building a stronger community in our young adults as they grow their understanding of Scripture and faith together.

Ted Williams
Facilities and Children’s Ministry Assistant
Born and raised on the Yakama Reservation, Ted and his family were introduced to Sacred Road Ministries many years ago. He has been involved with the church for some time and began working as part-time staff in 2021. As of September 2021, Ted has moved to full-time staff and works alongside Trey Belisario and the Children’s Ministry Team. He works consistently with our H.O.P.E. After-School Program and assists the students with homework and educational activities.

Felicia "Fishii" Tillequots-Umtuch
Youth Ministry Assistant
fumtuch@sacredroadministries.comFishii grew up in a traditional home on the Yakama Reservation. She met Ann Marie (Granberry) Hausler at the public elementary school on the Reservation when they were both in 4th grade. Her involvement with Sacred Road began at that time and has only grown and developed more deeply over the years.
Since it’s conception, Fishii has been heavily involved with the Youth Group. She was one of the core teenagers for our Youth Group in the very beginning and naturally grew into a leadership role as she got older. After graduating from White Swan High School, Fishii attended Indian Bible College in Flagstaff, Arizona. She graduated from IBC in 2022 with a Bachelors of Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. She has since moved back to Yakama to work with Chuck Clevenger as a Youth Ministry Assistant for the B.Y.G.E.

Ann Marie (Granberry) Hausler
Communications Coordinator and Worship Director
ahausler@sacredroadministries.orgAnn Marie moved to the Yakama Reservation with her family when she was nine years old. Growing up, she was deeply immersed in the community, culture, and tradition of the Yakama people. She grew up helping lead at Kid’s Clubs and on worksites each summer, as well as preparing food in the kitchen with her mom, delivering Christmas food boxes and gifts with her dad, leading one of the first D-Groups for Youth Ministry, and taking on the role of Worship Leader at just thirteen. She has watched the Ministry develop from the ground up and has a deep love and appreciation for our community. After graduating from Covenant College in 2016, Ann Marie moved around quite a bit. She has experience leading worship, not only as an official leader at Covenant College, but also at five churches across five states. When Covid hit, Ann Marie was living and working out of state but was brought on as a part-time employee to help Sacred Road communicate with supporting churches and individuals during the time of distancing. In 2022, she found herself back in the Yakima area and continued working as our part-time Communications Coordinator, as well as becoming the Worship Director at Hope Fellowship. She officially joined full-time staff in Summer 2024.
